Hispanic Committee of Virginia
Enthusiastic volunteers are needed for HCV's literacy program, "Arroz con Leche," to help children develop language skills through games, projects, and theatrics and its mentoring program, "Alianza Escolar," to serve as mentors for Hispanic middle school students, helping them with school work and offering friendship and advice.

Resettles refugees in the Washington area as well as helps them achieve self-sufficiency. Volunteers assist with tutoring English, mentoring, and pick up and delivery of furniture to refugees.
