Mission: Established in 2001, by the Northern Virginia Technology Council Board of Directors (NVTC) to give back to the community through programs that address issues of workforce, computer literacy and educational development for underserved youth. Equal Footing
Foundation's core program is the Computer Clubhouse. An innovative and safe after school learning center where children ages 8-18, many of whom do not have access to technology at home, can work with adult mentors to
learn, develop and explore their potential. The youth development and educational programs we offer vary from arts-based such as film making, music recording, Photoshop to STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)programs such as robotics, gamming and space camp. The Computer Clubhouses we support are centrally located within established community center, in close proximity to schools and bus routes for easy after school access.
