Faculty

CECiL creates, enhances, and coordinates partnerships for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge, resources and service. Our office can assist with all aspects of community based learning courses.

We support faculty as they navigate community based learning courses and as they engage students and community members in civic learning and anti-racist community engagement

We have resources available for gaining a course designation for your community based learning/civic learning courses. These designations are a great way to publicize your courses, receive training and support throughout the course lifecycle, and have access to grant funding through Mason Impact's micro and mini grants.

We provide support for working within the local community and with community partners. This is possible through facilitating introductions, providing best practices for working with community partners, and coordinating all required paperwork.

CECiL also provides faculty training on topics ranging from facilitating reflections to understanding and taking action for anti-racist community engagement.
