Community Development - St Elizabeth, Jamaica


On this trip participants will tutor and mentor children in Jamaica, build a playground for a local school and possibly even help on an organic farm!

HIV/AIDS - New York

HIV/AIDS is still growing in the US and abroad. In DC the rate is 1 in 20 infected and climbing. Participants on this trip will work with organizations that provide services to clients with HIV/AIDS and their families. Work can include providing prevention information to at-risk communities, organizing an AIDS Walk, and brightening the day of those infected through music concerts.

Cost: $300 apx.

Habitat for Humanity - Waynesburg, PA

Participants on this trip will help build houses for families in need in the Waynesburg, Pennsylvania area, which is a rural community outside of Pittsburgh.

Cost: $300 apx

Urban Youth - Atlanta, GA


"The youth of our inner-cities, and particularly Atlanta, live each and every day without the spiritual, emotional, and social needs that are necessary to live a full life. They live in an environment so problematic, so hopeless, so negative that they are considered “at-risk.”

Participants on this trip will work with local organizations to mentor urban youth through social activities and educational/career opportunities.

Conservation - Stuart, FL

On the edge of the everglades in Stuart, Florida, participants will learn about this unique ecosystem while repairing mangrove forests, repairing park trails and possibly building a bridge that can withstand hurricanes!

City Year --Philadelphia, PA

Help revitalize Philadelphia with City Year, an organization that teams young leaders with community needs.

Participants will paint murals at different metro stops and develop a service event for City Year’s Young Heroes Program, a weekend leadership development, social awareness, and community service program for high school-aged youth.

Cost: $475 apx.
