CLCE Advisory Committee Charge
The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) Advisory Board is established by the Dean of New Century College in collaboration with CLCE staff. The charge of the committee is to share information and provide guidance on CLCE’s mission and programs. Board members serve as a link between CLCE and faculty, staff, and students from their respective colleges, schools and/or departments, as well as the community. Members will bring information about disciplinary and department trends that align with CLCE’s mission and programs as well as identify opportunities for collaboration with faculty interested in incorporating service-learning and leadership into their curriculum and programs.
Board members are expected to serve as ambassadors of CLCE’s mission by sharing information about CLCE’s programs and services and by helping to increase the visibility of CLCE on campus and in local communities. CLCE Advisory Board members will not have fiduciary responsibilities (eg: fundraising) or have governance over budget and personnel issues.
